SKATEPARK is CLOSED.

During lock-down, the skate-park is closed, and must not be used.

It is a potential source for passing on the corona virus, as it has surfaces which are touched by many people. If more than one person uses the skate-park at the same time, it is a breach of social distancing rules if those people are not from the same household. It is not possible to maintain a 2 meter distance when users are on the structure itself.

A group of several youths of similar age were observed using the skate-park on Sunday afternoon for an extended period. It is impossible to prevent people using the skate-park because it cannot be locked up.

Please however make sure that children are aware that for the time being it is off-limits.

The same is true for the playground equipment.

Thank you.

STAY SAFE, WASH YOUR HANDS AND CARRY ON!!
